A Productive Day at Home | Melissa C. Koh

So working from home lately has kinda forced me into finding the best ways to make the most of my day. This WFH arrangement hasn't been new for my team and I since we moved out of our office a while back. However, I've found it increasingly a challenge to get stuff done while handling a cranky (and super needy) baby and I can't help caving into "mom-mode". This is what a typical day looks like for me.
I love starting on a positive note. Noah's smiley nature especially when he wakes up always makes my heart so full. I remind myself that I am blessed and there's so much to be thankful for. Being grateful is a state-of-mind that I've learnt to adopt over the years, and this has made me a happy person by nature. I like to take some time to hydrate (myself & my plants) and get on a quick call with my team members (individually) to talk about our objectives/goals for the day. There's usually quite a bit going on at once, so prioritising as a team is important to me as we can align our efforts better.
I love being hands on, so cooking Noah's meals (and meals for the family), make me feel accomplished. I usually look for recipes that are easy and fuss-free, so cooking does not take me away from work.
When I have pockets of time, I love scrolling through my DMs and interacting with you guys. I love the community I've built and I chatting makes me feel connected, inspired and motivated.

Thank you for following me through an attempt at a #productive day :)
