This 15 minute abs workout will target the abdominal muscles and help strengthen the overall core with focus on the upper abdominal muscles.

The rectus abdominis muscle runs down the centre of your torso from your sternum down to your pubic bone. When you work these muscles, they contract and all gear towards having visible abs when combined with a body fat percentage that allows visibility.

However they have many important roles in our body such as flexion of our lumbar spine, postural support and tilting of the pelvis.

Most of these exercises involves movements involving bring the chest towards the pelvis.

If these movements cause any strain to the neck, you cause claps hands behind head to provide support. Also try slowing it down a lot, lifting with solely the abdominal muscles to allow the head, neck and upper back to rise as one.

This follow along workout consists of the following exercises which are performed once and for 50 seconds each followed with 10 seconds rest in between each set to get ready for next exercise.
