When You Suddenly Need to Perform CPR on Someone | Public Health | UrduFreeAnimatedEducation
It's not every day you find someone who needs life-saving, true. But even if it's only a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, the stakes are still far too high to not know what to do when the condition actually happens. Before taking any step, make sure you're not in a state of panic or being nervous. You must keep calm and collected throughout the chest compression and rescue breathing routines.
The chest compression rate is around 100 times per minute and you should try to reach a depth of 4-5cm (1.5-2 inches) to actually be able to effectively pump the patient's blood. On some occasions even the ribs get fractured but that will heal (if the patient survives). Alternate 30 chest compressions with 2 ventilations or rescue breathings for the best survival chance. More in the video.
