Nine months ago, I made some fermented bean curd with chili sauce with stinky hairy tofu and now it's ready to eat. Fermented bean curd is a tasty specialty here in our area, with various cooking methods. You can use it as a dipping sauce for steamed buns and erkuai, mix it with porridge, make it into dipping chilies, serve as a seasoning for vegetables, steamed braised meat or stewed pig trotters.
