Shalini Saraswathi, is an adventure enthusiast, blade runner, marathoner, Iconic Women Award (IMC Chambers of Commerce) winner, and Deputy General Manager at First source Solutions. In her talk, she talks about her journey from being a patient of multiple organ failure to a participant in TCS 10k marathon and how she advocates for the inclusion of Persons with Disability on various platforms. She is an adventure enthusiast, public speaker, and Deputy General Manager at Firstsource Solutions. In 2012, she was infected by a rare bacterial infection, Rickettsial, due to which both her legs and her left hand had to be amputated, and then her right hand broke. She’s now a professional athlete and a 100 meter sprinter. Ms. Shalini is also an avid blogger. She was recently awarded the “Iconic Woman Award” by the Ladies’ Wing of the IMC Chamber of Commerce. She is an Ambassador for Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation, and is involved with Saviour of Soul.
