๐ŸŽฌ [Beef Bourguignon] (3-4 servings)
- Ingredients: 500g beef shank, 2 rows of thick bacon, 1 carrot, 2 celery, 5-6 button mushrooms, 4 garlic rolls, 1 parsley, a little olive oil, 1 tablespoon butter, 2 cups red wine, 1/2 tablespoon chicken stock, 250ml water, 3 tablespoons tomato paste, 3 tablespoons salt, pepper powder, 2 laurel leaves
1. Wipe the blood from the beef with a kitchen towel, cut it 6 to 7 cm in all directions, and season with salt and pepper.
2. Mince the garlic and cut the carrots, celery, and onions into large chunks. Slice button mushrooms and bacon into 2cm lengths.
3. In a heated pan, stir-fry the bacon and place it on a plate. Add the beef to the stir-fried bacon oil, cook only the surface of the beef over high heat, and transfer to a plate.
(If you cook it quickly on high heat on the outside, it will be juicy)
4. In a stir-fry pan, stir-fry onions, carrots, celery, button mushrooms, and garlic, followed by bacon and butter.
5. Over high heat, bring the meat, tomato sauce, red wine, chicken stock, and laurel leaves to a boil.
(Please refrain from drinking sweet dessert wine.)
6. Boil it for about an hour, covered, over medium-low heat. To finish, sprinkle with parsley powder.
(Serve with mashed potatoes if you prefer.)
7. Place it in a bowl and enjoy.
